Our world is going a little crazy...

As you've no doubt noticed, our world is going a little crazy.  Apart from Covid-19, our world is seeing unprecedented instances of depression, unemployment, acts of hate, and more.  Without something more, it's easy to let the weight of it all drown you...

You might have heard of jesus, but do you know him?

“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life."

John 3:16

We don't know what you're going through, but God does. And God cares. More than you can imagine...  God wants you to know that there is more than this existence... You have a spirit, a soul, that was lovingly crafted by the creater of all things. At some point along the line, we were infected with darkness.  We were seperated from God by our wrong choices, our sin. The anger and hate we see in the world, is that sin fully-grown. And fully-grown sin equals death...

What can i do to get rid of the wrong things i do? my sin?

We have good news and bad news for you... Here's the bad news: There is nothing that you can do on your own to get rid of the wrong in your life, of the sin. And every single one of us is full of sin, and have fallen short of the glory of God.

"...for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God..."

Romans 3:23

Now here's the good news. Go read John 3:16 again (it's just above here... we'll wait). God loved each and every one of us so much, that He sent His only son into our broken world, to be a sacrifice for each of us. Remember that hate and anger that make up our sin? Jesus Christ came to be the ONLY PERFECT BEING throughout all existence, the only human throughout all of history to live a fully sinless life, and He chose to offer Himself as the perfect sacrifice for the sins of all people by dying on a cross.  But that's not the end...

Jesus rose from the grave...

Jesus wasn't just a man.  Jesus is our savior.  The one who came not to condemn us to death as we deserve, but rather, to take that punishment upon himself.  After three days in the grave, Jesus rose to demonstrate His power over sin and death.

"...but God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us."

Romans 5:8

"...that Christ died for our sins in accordance with the Scriptures, that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day in accordance with the Scriptures..."

1 Corinthians 15:3-4

There's only one thing you have to do to receive god's forgiveness...

"...because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved."

Romans 10:9

The first step is to acknowledge the darkness and sin that is within each of us.

"...as it is written: “None is righteous, no, not one;"

Romans 3:10

The Bible makes it clear that we have all sinned, and we are all desperately in need of mercy and forgiveness from God.

The second step is a simple prayer, a request that God, through the sacrifice of His only Son, would show grace instead of judgment, mercy instead of wrath.  If you're tired of living in sin and darkness, and feeling the weight of it all, join us in this simple prayer:

join us in prayer...

God,

I know that I am a sinner. I have done so many things that don't please you. I have lived my life selfishly for myself only.  I am sorry, and I ask for your mercy, grace, and forgiveness.  I believe that you came to earth to die on a cross to save me and that you rose from the dead.  You did for me what I could not do for myself. Jesus, I want to turn away from my sins, and invite you to come into my heart and my life and take control.  I give my life to you.  I want to feel Your love and light over everything I do, and to follow you as my Lord and Savior.  Help me to live every day for you and in a way that pleases you. I love you God, and I thank you that I will spend all eternity in your goodness.  Amen

"For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith - and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God."

Ephesians 2:8
