our vision

NC EXISTS TO HELP PEOPLE OF ALL AGES FIND LIFE, HOPE, AND PURPOSE IN JESUS CHRIST

a place for you!

At NC, it is our desire to help individuals of all seasons and stages find life, hope, and purpose in the person of Jesus Christ. We believe that our stellar location in the Northland of Kansas City provides a strong opportunity for outreach & community development and will allow us to reach a multitude of diverse families. From ages 0 to 100, it is our desire to equip these families and individuals in their knowledge of the Bible and their personal relationship with Jesus.

What are our services like?

Whether it is through music, prayer, or preaching, God's word is at the center of all of our gatherings. Each service includes a time of prayer, preaching, and giving. The sermons are built on God’s Word and aim at transforming our lives to be more like Jesus Christ.

  • Our 9:15 AM Worship Service is a blended-style, joining together elements of traditional and contemporary services led by Rev. Ron Steen, and the Cathedral Orchestra & Worship Team. Ministry in God’s Word is provided by Lead Pastor Kevin Smith.
  • Our 11:00AM Worship Service is a contemporary style modeled after Upper Room, Jesus Culture, and Bethel worship experiences, with worship led by Dr. Joshua Baum and our Worship Band, with ministry in God’s Word from Lead Pastor Kevin Smith.
  • And on Wednesday nights we offer a Prayer Service for all adults at 6:30PM, special class offerings (like Alpha, NC Discover, etc.) at various times, as well as NC Girls Ministry and Royal Rangers at 6:15, and NC Student Services at 6:30 pm.
  • NCYA Services are held on Thursdays at 7 pm in the Lower Level.

where should i park?

Parking just for our guests is available in Parking Lot B (look for the designated Guest Parking Signs) right next to the Canopy Entrance (Door 1), where our team of greeters are ready to meet you and help you find your way!

Where should I go?

Here at NC, we want your first-time experience to be as easy as possible!  At every entrance we have greeters who are eager and ready to help you find where you need to go!  You can also visit the Welcome Center in the Concourse for more information!

what about childcare?

Here at NC, our NC Kids and NC Kids JR ministries are all about sharing the life, hope, and purpose of Jesus with your children! Our clean, well-staffed nurseries for infants and toddlers are provided during our Sunday morning 9:15 and 11 am services, and our NC Kids ministry allows children to experience a high-energy time of worship with solid biblical teaching!

What should i wear?

Here at NC, we are more concerned about you and your relationship with God, than we are with what you wear. You will see everything from business formal to jeans, however, we invite you to come as you are to join us in worship.
